I have been involved in finding good homes for retired racing Greyhounds for more than ten years with a wonderful organization called Greyhound Options Inc. based in Ware Massachusetts. We have placed more than 900 Greys since 1995 and work to raise awareness of what good pets retired Greys make.

Greyhounds are friendly, affectionate dogs who thrive on human companionship. They have a sweet temperament, are friendly and refined, affectionate and loyal. They are empathetic and social by nature. This is a serene, noble breed blessed with a sense of humor, as those who have adopted a Greyhound from the track will attest.
